Le bellezze italiane

Oggi ho voluto dedicare questa giornata all’importanza della salvaguardia del nostro patrimonio culturale e storico, accettando l’invito dei Giovani Monarchici. La bellezza dei nostri tesori e l’importanza della loro conservazione è uno dei temi che più ci sta a cuore, è proprio dall’attenzione alla bellezza che si può cercare una ripartenza verso un futuro migliore.

Il nostro paese è ricco di monumenti, ville, chiese, opere d’arte magnifiche, la cui esistenza è sconosciuta ai più e che rischiano di scomparire senza essere apprezzate nel giusto modo. Così i Giovani Monarchici desiderano organizzare degli eventi per porre l’attenzione su questi gioielli così vicini eppure così lontani dalle nostre menti.

Oggi abbiamo conosciuto alcune delle chiese di Saronno, tra cui quella di san Francesco che sorge su un antico tempio pagano risalente al I-II sec. D.C., di cui rimane l’ara nel retro della sacrestia. E per l’occasione si sono radunate alcune splendide auto d’epoca, appartenenti a collezioni provate e alla Scuderia Savoia Cavalleria.

I wanted to dedicate this day to the importance of safeguarding our cultural and historical heritage, accepting the invitation of “Giovani Monarchici”. The beauty of our treasures and the importance of their conservation is one of the most important things, from the attention to beauty we can have a better future. Our country is full of monuments, villas, churches, magnificent works of art, whose existence is unknown to most people and which risk disappearing without being appreciated in the right way. So “Giovani Monarchici” want to organize events to focus on these jewels so close but so far from our minds. Today we known some of the Saronno churches, among them St. Francis, it was build on an ancient pagan temple dating back to the 1st-2nd century AD, of which there are some ruins in the back of the sacristy. For the occasion there were some splendid vintage cars, some belonging to private collections and some others to the “Scuderia Savoia Cavalleria.”
