Psychotic London ci ha invitati a un intrigante secret cocktail nella suggestiva cornice del THE DOPING CLUB di Milano. Per entrare occorreva una parola d’ordine, ARCANUM, e, apertasi una tenda nera, abbiamo indossato una maschera per scoprire quale misterioso profumo si celava dietro di essa. Le nuove fragranze erano due, entrambe del naso Nathalie Feisthauer: Magnetic Infusion le cui note di testa sono Vaniglia, Cocco e Pera; la nota di cuore è Caffè; le note di base sono Legno di Agar (Oud), Patchouli e Labdano. Mystic Delight ha come note di testa Pesca, Zenzero e Fiori Bianchi; la nota di cuore è Green Apple; le note di fondo sono Sandalo, Fava Tonka e Vetiver.
Il fondatore di questo brand è Shota Lomtadze il quale desiderava scoprire la vera essenza del piacere nel regno delle fragranze. Ha ridefinito la parola “psicotico”, abbracciando lo straordinario e trascendendo l’ordinario. Con lui Céline Ellena c’è una profumiere affermata, la terza generazione di un’illustre tradizione di profumeria familiare. Il suo approccio alla profumeria è quello di una scrittrice che si immerge nella narrazione delle emozioni e ne cattura l’essenza attraverso l’arte olfattiva. L’idea è che ogni fragranza crei dipendenza, così il direttore artistico Thierry de Baschmakoff ha racchiuso ognuna di esse in una bottiglia a forma di siringa in modo da dosare ogni singola goccia di puro piacere e di permettere di «iniettarla» per trasformare il modo di vedere ciò che ci circonda.
Psychotic London invited us to an intriguing secret cocktail in the evocative setting of THE DOPING CLUB in Milan. To enter we needed a password, ARCANUM, and, once a black curtain opened, we put on a mask to find out what mysterious scent was hidden behind it. There were two new fragrances, both by Nathalie Feisthauer: Magnetic Infusion whose top notes are Vanilla, Coconut and Pear; the heart note is Coffee; the base notes are Agarwood (Oud), Patchouli and Labdanum. Mystic Delight has Peach, Ginger and White Flowers as top notes; the heart note is Green Apple; the base notes are Sandalwood, Tonka Bean and Vetiver. Shota Lomtadze is the founder of this brand and he wanted to discover the true essence of pleasure in the realm of fragrances. He redefined the word “psychotic,” embracing the extraordinary and transcending the ordinary. Céline Ellena create this brand with him; she is the third generation of an illustrious tradition of family perfumery. Her approach to perfumery is like a writer who immerses herself in the narration of emotions and captures their essence through olfactory art. The idea is that each fragrance is addictive, so the artistic director Thierry de Baschmakoff has enclosed each of them in a syringe-shaped bottle in order to dose every single drop of pure pleasure and to allow it to be “injected” to transform the way we see what surrounds us.
