Caccia alla Volpe

Ci sono tradizioni che si tramandano di generazione in generazione mantenendo immutato il loro fascino. Un fascino intriso di storia, etichette, codici d’onore che ci aiuta a capire che il rispetto di alcune regole comportamentali, dei ruoli e lo spirito di gruppo sono un valore aggiunto e una filosofia da tenere presente e non da bandire in nome dell’emancipazione e della libertà. La Caccia alla volpe è nata nella contea di Norfolk nel 1534 e, nel tempo, si è trasformata in un evento sociale che prevede una sintonia tra la natura, l’uomo e gli animali. Vi si può partecipare a piedi o a cavallo “field hunter”, è previsto un abbigliamento particolare e una muta di cani, guidati dal Master, che seguono l’odore della volpe, ricreato chimicamente. Il Maestro di Caccia o (Joint) Master of Fox Hounds (MFH) è colui che si assume la responsabilità finanziaria della battuta di caccia e gestisce l’andamento dell’attività.

Grazie al gradito invito del Notaio Claudio Limontini ho vissuto un’esperienza emozionante che mi ha trasportato in un’altra dimensione, fuori dal tempo e dallo spazio. La Caccia alla volpe (simulata) è iniziata allo Sporting Club Monterosa e si è tenuta nelle campagne novaresi in una splendida giornata di sole. Il diritto di cap è stato devoluto al Corpo Italiano di Soccorso dell’Ordine di Malta. Al termine è stato organizzato un succulento lunch presso il Castello di Morghengo.

Fox hunting was born in Norfolk County in 1534 and over time became a social event involving a harmony between nature, humans and animals. You can take part on foot or on horseback “field hunter”, there is a dress code and a pack of dogs led by Master which follow the scent of the Fox, re-created chemically. The Master of Fox Hounds (MFH) assumes the financial responsibility of the hunting and manages the progress of the event. Thanks to he invitation of Notary Claudio Lamont I lived an exciting experience that transported me to another dimension, out of time and space. The fox hunting (simulated, paper hunts) started at the Sporting Club Monterosa and was held in the Novara’s campaigns during a beautiful sunny day. The right cap was donated to the Corpo Italiano di Soccorso dell’Ordine di Malta. At the end we had a delicious lunch at the castle of Morghengo
